Description

The National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration forLeadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) for Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire (NDL) is a health research collaboration between the University of Nottingham and NHS organisations. Our focus is clinical research into mental health, stroke rehabilitation, children and young people and older people’s health and wellbeing.

Public involvement in research

We aim to include the views of patients and the public in all aspects of our work. This includes Board membership, recruitment and selection of staff, co-application for research funding, funding applicaiton review, advice to current research studies, co-authorship of peer-reviewed publications, presentation of findings and linkages with community groups and NHS provider agencies to ensure that best practice is adopted and sustained.
